Arthur Soares: Arthur is a 1,86 tall and 22 years old man that loves Rock and Metal since he was a kid. His father is a musician that play Brazilian country music, hes father always heard Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Scorpions, Bryan Adams and other rock artists, Arthur always liked rock, when he was 8 years old his father give him a dark gray Devil One guitar on his birthday and then he started guitar classes, when he as 9 years old, he and his 2 friends, David Dalla and Gabriel Furiti made a project of a future rock band named “Alcateia”, they promised they would find a good drummer for the band, but when Arthur was 10 years old, 4 elder guys from school started to bully Arthur, beating the boy, he got scars of it until today, one of this scars are 4 small lines on his right leg, once the persons that bullied him made 4 cuts on his right leg, this is his most memorable scar, when he was 11 years old, to escape bullying he started to listen to Metal, and then he got a love by the Nü Metal genre, and then he started to dress like the Nü Metal artists, until he was 13 he was bullied, and then he attacked one of the bullies because he talked about Arthur dead sister, he quit that school, and in his new school he met Bruno da Silva, when he was 14 he joined the band named “Black Priest”, and the band kept in activity by 6 years, when we became 20 the band dissolved, and then he talked to David and Gabriel to start the project “Alcateia” and they started their Bass and Guitar sound in Gabriel garage.

David Dalla: David is a 1,80 meters tall and 21 years old man, he loves to play guitars, when he was 12 years old his cousin suicided by suffering a very deep depression, and left a message to him, the card said he was giving David his dark green Turbocaster guitar, It was a very hard moment to David, but he remembered his cousin wanted him to be the guitar player he never could be and David started guitar classes when he was 13 years old, he is the best friend of Arthur, and they know each other since they are 5 years old, David always liked classic rock and electronic music, so he started to do some music with Gabriel when they was 14 in a band named “Dead Inside”, when they was 17 “Dead Inside” dissolved, and then they separated themselves, and when David was 20 years old, Arthur called him and Gabriel to do their childhood project, the named “Alcateia”, and they begun doing some heavy sound on Gabriel garage, and of that garage appeared songs like “War Dogs” and “The Forgotten”.)

Gabriel Furiti: Gabriel is a 1,83 meters tall and 21 years old man, Gabriel always liked Metal and Rock, his brother was 2 years older and a gothic punk that always wanted his brother don't go through what he gone through, and Gabriel always seen his brother like his best friend, because both of them was bullied on school, and they seen what always happen to Arthur and couldn't help, when Gabriel was 6 years old he started doing Bass classes with his brother, and in his 13 years old birthday his brother gave him his custom Redgie Bass, Gabriel loves his brother bass like a son, in every interview he thanks his brother for bass lessons, when he was 14 he joined David's band named “Dead Inside”, and the project kept active for 3 years, when his band dissolved he kept playing his bass riffs and getting better and better, and in 23/05/2022, Arthur called him and David to do a new band, and then they started their childhood project, “Alcateia”.

Bruno da Silva: Bruno is a 1,90 meters tall and 22 years old man. Bruno always liked to hear his mother playing drums, and when he was 6 years old, he started playing his mother drums, when he was 13, he was bullied at school because he was a little fat, and then he started to do more exercises and when he was 14 he met Arthur, he discovered Arthur past at school and started to talk to him, and they became friends, when Bruno was 15 years old he joined the band named “Guerrilha” and he been on this band for 5 years, and when he was 20 years old, the band went on hiatus, so 1 year later, Arthur called him to “Alcateia” and Bruno listen to their songs, and then he started to plan some drums beat to the songs, and then one day, when the guys started to play, Bruno did a incredible drums hit in all the songs, and when he played his drums rhythm of the song “Give Up” the dudes stopped playing and seen Bruno playing very fast the drums, they was so impressed that they don't talked nothing, on the same day they closed Alcateia band members, and then they started to do their first album, and 8 songs self titled EP.

Bryan Camargo: Bryan is 1.82 meters tall and 23 years old. He grew up in a religious family, always being forced to pray a whole rosary at least once a day, which made him grow up to be a rebellious young man, and this rebelliousness got him expelled from school for beating up bullies, and in total he was expelled from three schools in his life, being someone hated by some and loved by others, from the age of 9 he knew how to play bass, he formed a friendship with Ari Nicolas at the age of 13, forming Dark Priest in secret as a form of refuge, and in Dark Priest he met Arthur Soares, but at the age of 14 he became addicted to alcohol and cocaine. At the end of Dark Priest, Bryan was 21, and after the band broke up he started practicing vocals, but fell into a new addiction, methamphetamine, And after joining Alcateia he started practicing guttural vocals, but as the months went by, he got worse, and ended up fighting with Arthur, because he was under the influence of cocaine, methamphetamine and alcohol, he wanted control of the band. After a week of not leaving the house, he talked to the band and apologized, and decided it was best to go to rehab. He is currently in inpatient treatment to overcome his addiction while he trains his vocals.

Name Meaning: Alcateia in Brasil is the word used to talk about a Wolf Pack.

Band History

Arthur Soares, Gabriel Furiti and David Dalla are childhood friends, and since they are 9 years old they plan to make a rock band named “Alcateia”. But when Arthur was 13 years old, he quit the school because he was bullied heavily. At his new school, he met Bruno da Silva. When Arthur was 14, he discovered Bruno was talented with the drums. He talked to Bruno about his band project. But Bruna already was in a band named “Guerrilha”. Arthur then talked to Gabriel and David; both of them were in a band named “Dead Inside”. Arthur then listened to his friends playing and he saw David and Gabriel had a lot of talent with Bass and Guitar. So Arthur was called by one of Gabriel's friends to be part of a band named “Black Priest”. Arthur accepted; the project remained active for 6 years.

The project was stopped when Ari Nicolas, the band bassist opened his own record company, named “Industrial Records”. Bryan Camargo and Eduardo Oliveira left the band too, and Arthur saw that the band was over, so Gabriel and David banded gathered together and then they started to do the real “Alcateia”. But they were still needing a drummer. Arthur talked to Bruno about his band, and Bruno said his band was in hiatus. So Bruno joined the band as the drummer, and then Alcateia first formation, was finalized.

They tried to do a Demo, but they didn't have equipment, so they started to write songs, and in 7 months they wrote 12 songs. Arthur and David started to make some riffs to the songs and Gabriel wrote the full bass rhythm. Bruno heard all their riffs to make the drums rhythm, Then they wrote one of their best songs, named Mute. Then they started to do their first Album; it was going to have 12 songs, to be released on 13/12/2022. Alcateia was called to talk with Ari Nicolas. Ari told them he wanted to contract them to do their Album, but 4 songs must be censored because they had a lot of curse words. So they decided to remove those songs from the Album and do an instrumental 8 songs EP. Then they signed the contract on 01/15/2023. They started to record the EP, and they released the EP on 02/10/2023 with 8 songs without vocals. The new EP was extremely well received by the fans of the metal genre lovers, and after it, the boys started to do 2 more new songs, a 4-track EP with vocals, to make fans even happier.

After some months, they joined Plain Front in a show named “Fuck The Neighbors”, it was their first show ever. After it they went after a vocalist and Bryan joined the band, one month later, they made a Split EP with OBJCTVE, their first release in POM Records. On 11/10/2023, after Bryan gone to the clinic to leave drugs addiction, they recorded a EP named Survive, showing their fans how the band changed in months, from Experimental to Nu Metal more than ever, they are remaking all their songs to sound more like Nu Metal, and they got more plans for 2023, news coming soon!
