CheapSushi here, sorry for the lack of updates. A lot of bands on the label have released some wicked new bangers but due to my absence the site hasn't been updated and many others have wanted to join the label and post their material too. Sorry for all that. Personal things got in the way and I just wasn't in a good headspace. I'll try to get the site up-to-date with all the releases, along with finally..... Battle of the Bands 4. " Hello POM Records, it’s Chris from Call of the Void. I just wanted to make an announcement to let everyone know that we’re not dead, since it’s been nearly half a year since we released our single, R.S.D. We’ve been pretty silent since then, and I just wanted to update everyone on what’s going on and why we’ve spent so long. First of all, I’d like to apologize for the radio silence. We want to keep everyone in the loop about what’s going on, and we’ll try to inform you sooner about these kinds of situations. The truth is, I’ve been dealing with some mental health issues during the recording process of our album. While I don’t want to share too many details, considering how personal this is, it’s been a struggle for me to even get in the studio for the past few months. Needless to say, it’s been making the recording way more difficult and time consuming than it needs to be. I’ve been feeling better this past month, and I’m proud to announce that the album is officially ready for release. We’re aiming to release it here on POM Records on the 20th, and everywhere else on the 21st. We’re really happy with how this one turned out, and we’re sure you’ll enjoy it as well. Make sure to catch it when it comes out and listen to R.S.D. in the meantime! " Genre: Hard RockTracklist 1. Megoldottuk Another little teaser from MentalTea's next album! To make you feel better, more is on the way! Stay tuned!
For those curious, Megoldottuk translates to "we solved it" in Hungarian. R.I.P., Pál Inka. GENRE: METALTRACKLIST 1. Plain Front - A Series Of Unfortunate Events 2. Plain Front - Monetary 3. Alcateia - Tortured To Death 4. Alcateia - Bloody Smile This is a split album featuring two bands you wouldn't nesscarily think would work together but definitely do! What kinds of things can happen to you alone in a cabin in the woods? Listen to find out.
PLAIN FRONT just teased their next upcoming album cover art on their Instagram story. It was quickly deleted by the band, but fans got screenshots and started circulating it around social media in excitement. It is a bright neon yellow background with what looks to be the roman numeral 2.
We asked Plain Front what the album art means and some other questions. They said it would be called "II," as in the roman numeral 2, because it is meant to be their second self-titled project, but they didn't want to just call it Plain Front again, so they did that, and they said any other self-titled projects would be titled that way moving forward, As for the reason they're deciding to make a second S/T project is because they feel it's a new era for them, and it was time to ditch their punk roots for their newer emo/experimental sound. We asked the band what the cover meant, and they said yellow is a color that has a lot of meanings, anxiety being one of them. We also asked one final question, which is the sound this album is going for and how many tracks will be on it, which the band didn't disclose further. |
