GLORY TO THE LABEL!Hello all, Krusty here, the CEO of POM Records & member of 1st Assault. While on probation (ya'll can't prove nothin'!), I got a DM from some baddie who told me about all the tea going on, cuz I've been out of the scene running a [redacted by lawyer] and the next day I ended up getting a letter in the mail. It was from one of the lawyers, who also promptly quit to join the Trump defense council. Somehow I ended up running the record label this year because of a clause in my contract for being the first signed here. Whatever, I ain't gonna turn down an opportunity. Who would have figured Mr. Schultz was running yet another shady racket in the music industry? It's not like I saw all the signs and ignored them all for over a decade. But regardless, this gave us some hella clout tho and elevated our name in the game. We didn't want to spend any money on a PR company to clear up our image, so this year we just doubled down. This year we've had an incredible amount of new bands sign. We made absolutely sure these contracts were lengthy, perpetual, impossible to read and took complete intellectual rights away from them in order to maximize artistic exploitation for monetary gain; many of them also required a blood oath & sacrifice. We still have a heart though, so some of the bands will continue to be paid in maple syrup. The others, depending on the exact clause, will receive their residual checks in 99 years. So... yes.... even though we've been transparent (not really) about all this, plenty have sold their souls to make it in this business. But, it's been a good year, for sure. Although those bastards at Meta have disallowed us from posting our links on Facebook & Instagram, we've managed to get a decent amount of visitors. With around 11 new bands and several album releases later, just the works from 2023 have garnered at least 1,019 sales (...downloads). That's over 1,000 albums/songs sitting on someone's drive, that actively wanted to keep and listen to a band posted on here. We didn't even have to pay a bot farm to inflate those numbers! So we think that's pretty dang cool, especially because it's several years now since the glory days of the POM universe. Now, you're probably thinking, I would be hella rich with all of these sales with 100% of the revenue and the use of Fiverr for our staffing. But you are wrong. Sure, there's some tax dodging. But all the dang Faceless Culture tours have cost us a shit-ton of money and then all the lawyer fees for all the other messes the band, and every other immature bastard on here has gotten into. So effectively, we're in debt. We have started a Patreon to help us stay open. 1st Assault & the future of POM Records
POM 3 / POM ProIf you've read up to this point, damn, congrats. As a special announcement for those not on Discord, we would like to mention that no, the next game is NOT dead. The next game will be called.... BAND-O-MATIC Evil-Dog finally accepted our nonstop begging and has started testing some things for it in Unreal Engine. We hope to finally have a mobile & Steam port of POM1 & POM2 as well; which could help fund the new game. So there you go, something to look forward too. No promises of course. But at least it's more likely than not likely. Woooh! (old info / hype from years ago as a reminder) Thank you everyone!Thank you for every click, for every download, every comment and every view. Thanks to everyone still making & releasing things for this 13 year old game. Thank you to the people out there listening to the songs, reading the biographies and participating.
Tomorrow we will also be releasing the results for the Community Awards 2023! We hope everyone has good things coming in 2024, have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Meet the explosive and promising up-and-coming band, "BLOODSHOT," now signed to POM RECORDS!
Hailing from the vibrant musical scene of New England. Comprised of Shawn, the groups Bassist and Lead Vocalist who anchors the band with raw intensity; Matty, the bands Lead Guitarist and Backup Vocalist adding layers of depth throughout their music; Jack, the Rhythm Guitarist, driving the bands energy; and Kel, the Powerhouse Drummer setting the pulse for their electrifying sound. Drawing inspiration from their New England roots, Bloodshot combines their roots of Hardcore, Punk, and Metalcore to create a genre-defying experience. We just got good news that Plain Front replaced their rhythm guitarist after they kicked out ex-member Gus Farmer. Their new member is an old friend of frontman Sebastian Lukens; introducing.... *drum roll*...... Owen Opton as the new Plain Front rhythm guitarist! Today we have a legendary band at the office to talk about what's up with the band and what their plans are. The Legendary signed with POM Records back in March and put out some awesome singles, including music videos but no packaged album yet. So let's hear from the band.
Chad: So yes of course, there will be an album on that, and other new things which will arrive soon to make a sequel to the album. Randy: We did hear rumors of an album being worked on. Ray (guitarist): Rumors you say? It's the first time I've heard that, but for the album it was the idea of our manager Derman, who has had the idea, to group all the music together but in two parts for this album project. But frankly we have a hundred songs in our studio, haha. Randy: What has it been like being on POM Records? How have fans new and old been treating you? Seth (bassist): I don't know it's weird to be signed with POM Records, we're healthy like at home. Chad: ...and our fans love our music so much come back here, and we know we decided to do a project to pleasure our fans. Randy: When can we expect the project releases? Liam (guitarist): For the moment it remains a mystery. We just can't wait to distribute our albums to all our fans, and also to our band colleagues from POM Records, because their f*cking music is monstrous. Randy: Thanks to the band, The Legendary, on this update. Be sure to check our their band page, their singles, leave a comment and be on the look out!
