INTERVIEW | OBJCTVE MAKES A LOT OF NOISE IN THE SCENE

Today we're having a chat with Firat, the guitarist and Omar, the drummer, of the recently signed metal band Objctve.  Metalheads around the world having been grabbing their album. Here's the fresh interview!

Randy (POM Records): Damn, another metal band on POM Records. But, I'll legit say, you guys are definitely making a lot of noise in the scene. The production on the album was tight. I can respect that. How'd it go in the studio making it?

Fırat (L. Guitarist): ....yeah, we had to use some help from our friends at the music school for the final product. We have been working on our current upcoming album at the same time.

Randy: Tell us about the Turkish Metal scene and what it means to you guys. Now that you guys have a big international audience, what do you guys think? The album is selling pretty well too. Did you guys know it was going to be a hit with metalheads?

Omar Bora (Drummer): The Turkish metal scene has been pretty damn bland after the band Pentagon sold out like the low life's they are, but the underground scene has been going strong as hell. We wanted the world to hear the different tunes of the Turkish underground metal scene. We're kind of surprised at it being this powerful as it is our first release, and it would have been totally a top mosh pit album if Fırat allowed me to do blast beats for once!

​Randy: What's the plans now that it's out on POM Records? What's next?

Omar: We have been back in the studio working on the recording of our next album, Loathe Malevolence, the heaviest that we can get it to be is going to be in the few select songs of this album. It's gonna be a good headbanger to listen too!

​Randy: What's your message to the fans out there and new people just discovering the band?

Fırat: Thanks for the support, but mainly it's just like damn, we never expected people to be this welcoming to this new type of metal genre. But for the OG's, stay headbanging my teriffmatic friends!

Randy: You know what? I'm in a pretty good mood, especially after that bastard Mr. Schultz got caught. I haven't been paid in months! So go buy OBJCTVE'S album, Swore To Destroy ASAP, so I can go help feed my kids! Blast it loud! I mean, tinnitus sucks and all but this one is worth it.  Anyway, that was our interview with the band OBJCTVE.
